Our Commitment

Project Safety

The Luedtke Engineering Company adheres to the highest standards of Health, Safety and Environmental Regulations. Our goal is to complete our projects safely and efficiently. We have over 40 full time qualified and skilled union employees who contribute to our success.

Industry Leader for 92 Years

Established in 1930 when E.R. “Duke” Luedtke bought his first vessel, the family owned business has continued to grow throughout the generations.

In the early years, our activities were focused on Lake Michigan and Lake Huron. By 1966, we expanded both in capabilities and geographic area, resulting in a dramatic increase in sales and the subsequent acquisition of additional tugs and floating equipment. Our expansion has been paralleled by a steady growth of management capabilities, reinforced by decades of experience in this highly specialized field of marine construction.
